Reedswood Primary School
Project Brief
This client needed to add an extension to the existing school, which would be used for nursery children. We won the tender thanks to our competitive prices, and because we had the relevant experience and knowledge that the client was looking for.
What we did:
Working as the main contractor, we started with the initial groundworks and site clearance. Once that had been completed, we started the brickwork and added the framework to the finished exterior, before completing the internal decoration.
Due to the magnitude of the job – and the extensive health & safety risks – it was agreed that most of the work would be carried out during the school holidays and weekends to prevent any issues with students.
This project lasted for 20 weeks and cost £300,000.
