The original single-storey pitched roof was removed, a new floor was installed and the existing external walls were extended to form the first-floor extension. A new pitched roof was installed following the same gradient as the original roof and finished with Spanish slates to match. UPVC double glazed were installed to the front and rear elevations to complete the external structure. 

Internally, we installed an ensuite shower room complete with full height wall tiling, tiled floor, underfloor heating, walk-in shower, toilet, basin, illuminated mirror, extraction and built-in storage.

1st and 2nd Fix joinery, electrical and plumbing were completed to provide new doors, lighting and heating. All the walls and ceilings were plaster boarded, skimmed and decorated in the clients’ chosen colour scheme to complete the project.

In addition to the extension, the client also asked us to refurbish the main bathroom, complete additional electrical works and decoration in adjacent bedrooms, install a new bay window to the front room and construct a porch to the property entrance.
