As the project commenced it became clear that water ingress had caused significant damage internally to the timber deck where the original waterproof liner had deteriorated.

As industrial roofing contractors, we cleaned out the existing gutter to remove years’ worth of debris, vegetation and the old bitumen felt liner to expose the timber deck.

Once exposed three damaged areas of the timber deck were replaced with 18mm marine ply. Our certified approved industrial roofing contractors, fully qualified in the installation of HD Sharman Plygene Gutterline System, spent the following week and a half installing the system including adding watertight welds to foam mouldings around the brickwork and existing downpipes.

As industrial roofing contractors, we’re proud of the longevity of our work. Now the works have been completed and signed off by the manufacturer the system is guaranteed for 25 years.
