Wickes
Project Brief
Wickes hired us to help freshen up their tired-looking cladding, spray the external windows and bring the building in line with the company’s new vibrant colour scheme. In addition to this, they requested that we re-plaster the internal walls for office space and decorate those areas, to give it a bright appearance and make it a nicer environment for the staff. They also wanted us to decorate the interior portal steel frame, which gives the ceiling a modern warehouse look.
What we did:
Working as the main contractor, we completed this project quickly, within just 8 weeks. First, we completed a risk assessment, making sure all health & safety requirements were met and walkways were in place to restrict any overspray from occurring.
We started by jet washing the external cladding using a cherry picker to reach difficult heights, removing all excess dirt and old paint. The external works, including the window spraying, were completed at night so that the business could remain open and avoid any disruption to their trade.
The internal decoration was carried out at an accelerated rate, while continuing to meet our high standards. The project cost £50,000 and was completed within the client’s guided timescale.
