Healthcare Projects

G I Sykes Ltd has completed many contracts for both the NHS and private care providers. Projects we have completed typically utilise our many skills of both building and painting services.

Below is a selection of case studies from projects we have completed

Positive Living Ltd, Wolverhampton

G I Sykes was contracted by Positive Living Ltd to build an assisted adult living centre. The property was brought from G I Sykes Properties Ltd by Positive Living Ltd in 2009. G I Sykes Properties gained planning on the site to convert offices in to apartments and to construct a new 6 bedroom adult assisted living centre.

This was a very specific type of building project and had very specific requirements as the residents would all be adults with physical and or learning disabilities.

The ground floor apartments and all areas in the living centre were designed for disability access. All bedrooms had en-suite disability compliant wet-rooms fitted with anti-scold taps, easy use showers and support rails. Bedrooms were fitted with nurse call buttons and emergency pull cords.
