By commissioning G I Sykes to refurbish their existing aluminium windows, not only have they revitalised the external appearance of the building, they have also made the best environmental choice by extending the lifetime of the windows and avoiding waste.
The aluminium re-colouration and re-spraying has dramatically improved the appearance of the windows and overall presence of the building.
The colour was matched to the client’s specific requirements and the paints used are suitable for tough external environments.

June 2011: Painting and Decorating underway at the New Drayton Manor Park Hotel
G I Sykes have been appointed by the main contractor to undertake the painting and decorating of a prestigious new hotel.
This exciting new development is located at the award winning ‘Drayton Manor Theme Park and Zoo’. Works consist of painting and wallpapering of 150 bedrooms, function rooms, corridors and conference centre. The hotel will feature themed bedrooms, based on the hugely popular children’s brand Thomas & Friends™, which will compliment the park’s Thomas Land™ attraction.

Seamsil
This product is a patented low modulus silicone system developed by Delvemade Limited in conjunction with GE Silicones to solve the problem of cut edge corrosion.
Seamsil provides a strong, flexible external joint that can be installed without disturbing existing fixings and sheets. Its tenacious adhesion remains unaffected by UV or weather and temperature extremes.
Seamsil is a cost effective product used to protect your building from the expensive and progressive damage that cut edge corrosion causes on metal sheet clad buildings and roofs.
Delcote
This is the only treatment suitable for reinstating an effective long-term coating on pre-finished organic coated sheets. It is particularly suitable for roofing sheets, being a liquid blend of silicones designed for brush, roller, or spray application.
It does not require extensive surface preparation and provides protection with a life expectancy anticipated on PVC Plastisol coated steel.
Re-coating your building with Delcote should be considered when the original coating starts to fade, craze and/or delaminate or, in the case of smooth finish coatings, when it starts to blister and spot corrode. Not only will Delcote protect your cladding and roof but will also improve the appearance of your building and positively affect the value of the property.

Delglaze
A high performance, high build, single component moisture curing aliphatic polyurethane coating that cures to provide a clear, tough membrane principally for the recoating and sealing of aged and weathered GRP roof lights. Delglaze seals in the exposed fibres which remain flexible enough to accommodate roof light movement and provides a tough durable finish with a high degree of impact, erosion and weather resistant properties.
